An ordinary kitchen offers very few opportunities to become a flexible space in the home. However, modern designers and architects create unique mobile layouts that can be changed at any time. Today we share one such kitchen.
Guatemalan architect Alejandra Calderon’s “liberation of the kitchen” offers the possibility of developing different scenarios that adapt to the lifestyle of its users, opening up new possibilities for designing the home of the future. Three mobile modules contain all the elements needed to prepare meals: two induction hobs, storage space, prep space, fridge and sink with three bins for recycling waste.
Each module works with a stackable system consisting of different elements. Each of the elements can be used individually as a standalone piece with a folding leg mechanism. The different elements can also be stacked and combined in different configurations to suit the needs of the owner. Isn’t it a great idea for a modern space?
