The Waterdream collection consists of a number of unusual faucets from the bathroom brand Axor in collaboration with architects and designers. Water Steps allows the stream to tumble through a series of sculpted bowls, using the flow of water as a decorative element. Adjaye’s concept of ritual is said to frame the flow of water in a bronze channel and beneath a wedge-shaped granite inlay. GamFratesi was inspired by Japanese wooden fountains for Zen, an addition to the series, and sought to reconnect our understanding of water with nature. Other suggestions include Mimicry, an architectural marble faucet by Jean-Marie Massaud, and The Sea and the Shore, a clay basin with a small shelf by Werner Aisslinger.
