Faucet that saves water

Faucet that saves water

Today we see more and more high-tech pieces, especially in kitchen and bathroom appliances of all kinds. Modern faucets can do many things and work in different ways. If you’re looking for something special, the piece we’re sharing today is just what you need. This isn’t just a faucet, it’s the most eco-friendly and affordable piece I’ve ever seen!

1ℓimit Faucet by Yonggu Do, Dohyung Kim & Sewon Oh looks more like an elegant test tube upside down on a faucet. The glass tube holds exactly one liter of water, which is enough for a quick hand wash. The theory is that we waste almost six liters of water and only use one when washing our hands. Once the stored liter is used up, you must turn off the tap until the next liter fills the tube. A cumbersome rationing process that will hopefully bring home the point of conservation!

The faucet also has a very modern design with a transparent glass container for that liter. It’s a great solution for a modern space and is sure to be an eye-catcher. The stainless steel and glass used in the design are pretty universal and will fit in many spaces.
