Popular bedroom layouts

A bedroom is perhaps the main room in any home because even if you work a lot and only come home to sleep, you use your bedroom every day. It’s a place where you can rest, sleep, dream, read, have fun and even eat and drink if you want. Today we’re going to take a look at the two most popular bedroom layouts and the pros and cons of each. Let us begin.

The bed in the middle

This is a classic and foolproof bedroom arrangement that works every time for bedrooms with lots of space. If the bedroom is large enough, there is usually room for a queen-size or king-size bed, and the bed is always a centerpiece in that room. With the foot of the bed, place a storage bench, desk, console or large caddy that can be moved to serve coffee in bed. If you still have some space left to fill and you can opt for a reading nook, a home office nook, a bench, a large plant or even an entire seating area by the fireplace.

The bed against the wall

If your bedroom is barely big enough to fit a bed, there are some hacks to help you manage the space. The first thing you should do is move the bed against the wall in the corner to get as much free space as possible. Opt for a smaller double bed with built-in storage instead of a chest of drawers. Spice up the corner with a gallery wall or mirrors. Mirrors make the room appear larger. So invest in some that you can place strategically.

Placing a bed in the corner against the wall is also a good idea to save space for a wardrobe, dresser, desk, some stools or a reading chair. Use this space to rock the necessary things there.
