Futuristic kitchen assistant

Sook is one of the winners of a new concept in the Electrolux Design Lab 2008 competition. It was designed by Adam Brodowski. The device is an interactive wireless cookbook. Although it’s not that easy. It not only shows and shares different recipes but also connects you to different social networking services like Facebook. sook uses a series of sensors to detect what food is stored nearby or on the cutting board. In addition to measuring weight and moisture, it also includes an electronic tongue that tastes and examines food so all ingredients can be better mixed.

The concept is quite futuristic thanks to features like the electronic tongue. With this function, you can cook your favorite restoration dish at home, you just have to give it okay to attempt. I can’t imagine how long it will take to develop something like this, but even without this feature it will make a great addition to any foodie’s kitchen.
