Japanese studio Nendo has designed a collection of furniture and homeware for Danish brand BoConcept that includes a seat that seems to hug itself and accessories with origami patterns. The thirteen-piece Fusion series was designed by Nendo to combine elements of Japanese and Danish design. As the name of the collection suggests, we wanted to create new features and visual effects by fusing two different elements together. The BoConcept line of accessories is patterned with geometric shapes based on the Japanese art of origami paper folding. There are mugs, pillows, a flat day bed, shelves, tables, clocks and an armchair in different colors and patterns inspired by origami.
