Summer is almost a month away and outdoor decor and landscaping are more relevant than ever. This garden is a nice source of inspiration for those who are interested. It is landscape architect Nathan Burkett’s creation called “Equilibrium”. This garden design signals a return to soft, usable spaces that use greenery to create structure and symmetry in nature, rather than traditional “hard” landscape elements. One of the main features of the garden is a cantilevered arbor that wraps around the perimeter to create an architectural “frame” within which the rest of the garden sits. The seating area is paved with ornate stonework which continues at the foot of the garden and is interspersed with soft lawns and a pond subtly tiled with Italian glass.
