The previous summary was for the parents of teenage girls, and today I’m sharing some ideas for those of teenage boys. How to design a stylish and comfortable teenage shared bedroom that both boys will be happy with? Here are some tips and ideas.
colors and styles
First, find out what your boys like: colors, patterns, etc., and don’t forget about their hobbies and pastimes. What color scheme will you use? Neutral, monochrome for a modern feel, or some neutrals with bright splashes? What style will your sons have in their room? Create a cool, modern space in the colors your boys like. Don’t be afraid of bold colors because teenagers usually love them. Go for a cosy, modern farmhouse or an edgy, ultra-minimalist space, try a touch of industrial style for a masculine feel, or make it delicate and inviting – it’s entirely up to your boys and what they love.
furniture and decor
If there is not enough space for two beds, you can always opt for a bunk bed. A learning zone is a must. If you have little space, you should opt for multifunctional furniture or wall tables that can be hidden. Create a cool teen lounge area for your boys to invite their friends over and have fun. Don’t forget some decorations like a gallery wall, posters and lights and other things your sons like – let them add their own decor to the room but do it in style.
