Pink is one of my favorite colors, and if you love it too, why not incorporate this color into your interior design? They say that pink is purely girlish and is only suitable for feminine spaces, but that’s not true – you can use it in many other interiors too. My favorite rooms to use pink are bathrooms and bedrooms, but it can be used literally anywhere and today I’m presenting some ideas on how to incorporate it into kitchen decor.
Choose your favorite shade of pink and think about how much of it you want to use. Do you want pink kitchen walls or cabinets or both? Do you just opt for a pink kitchen island and a kitchen backsplash? Do you want to combine pink with smaller items than these? Pink suits any interior design style, but it’s important to choose the right shade of pink for your style. For example, a vintage kitchen looks strange with pink cabinets, while a modern room looks good with them and soft tones like blush go well with most styles, from minimalist to vintage.

If you decide to do all of this, think about what colors you will use with pink. Neutral colors of all kinds will refresh your kitchen, black and other bold colors provide contrast and make a statement, and bright colors create a cheerful atmosphere. Add brass and gold fixtures to give the room a more glamorous and sophisticated look, or opt for matte black fixtures for an ultra-modern vibe. The good thing is that with pink you don’t need much special decoration because your color already creates a mood. If you still need some, you can simply choose accessories that highlight your colors. Get inspired!
