Kitchen chores can turn out to be more complex than it seems, especially for the elderly and disabled. Industrial designer Dirk Biotto created ChopChop Kitchen to help, it’s so functional! The ChopChop kitchen counter is height adjustable. A perforated back panel hangs the most commonly used kitchen items so they are visible and easily accessible. With plenty of storage space, more items stay within reach. A retractable hose makes filling pots easy, and a slope in the sink helps pull heavy items out onto the worktop. A milled slot in the worktop serves as a stop for slicing bread, and an embedded grater makes grating easy – a drawer below collects the grated vegetables and fruit. A vise to hold and secure bottles, jars, cans, and a grate provides a pusher with an extra knife for hard-to-cut veggies and fruit. Everything is planned, bravo to the designer!
