Designers Douwe Jacobs and Tom Schouten’s Flux Chair is a beautiful modern piece that can be compressed into a flat pack. This makes it a dream to store and very easy to carry. The beauty of Flux lies in the way it transforms from a large polypropylene envelope (briefcase size) into a fully functional chair that takes every 3 minutes to set up.
The use of curved folds made the piece look like origami while being structurally sound – it’s definitely not your usual chair and I’m sure you’ve never seen anything like it.
