Based in Japan’s Aso region, in a small town called Minamioguni, FIL was recently established as a modern and minimalist lifestyle brand based on “fulfillment of life, a life that is full”. Their goal is to create furniture, objects and fragrance products that are eco-friendly, hoping to preserve the natural landscape of their surroundings with a minimalist sensibility.
Every product they make uses locally grown, high quality Oguni Cedar, native to the region. The beautiful wood is combined with materials such as copper and Nordic fabric to form the MASS series collection. The lines and silhouettes are chic and simple, they can be used for many interiors and are timeless. Any wood not used has its essential oils extracted from the branches and leaves to create a different product, the Lava Potpourri Susano fragrance.
