What is a wall niche?
A wall niche is essentially a decorative box that is built into the wall of your home. They are fully customizable and offer a creative way to squeeze extra storage space out of an empty wall. Wall niches are nothing new and are now being used by more and more homeowners as a smart storage solution in small spaces. Wall niches are very versatile spaces that can be placed almost anywhere in your home. Unlike mountable shelves, which can be distracting (and make rooms appear smaller), wall niches don’t protrude above the surface of your wall and form a whole. In one niche, you may end up with a lot of shelves at once.
